BSF DIG (Sector South) M.K. Negi said that the force is constantly assessing intelligence reports, tracking potential threats, and preparing counter-strategies to eliminate them.

• Full Deployment on 15 August: Every BSF officer will be on duty at the border for maximum security on Independence Day.
• Stronger Border Patrols: Increased foot and vehicle patrolling in sensitive areas along the India–Pakistan border.
• Upgraded SOPs: Careful review and improvement of existing instructions, drills, and emergency plans.
• Tech-Based Surveillance: Use of advanced devices and sensors for real-time monitoring and intelligence collection.

Connected to Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Operation Alert has been launched alongside the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign (2-15 August 2025), which inspires people to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes.
