Objectives of the Scheme
The Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana is designed to improve the economic and social status of women. It covers women between the ages of 23 and 60, with eligibility based on an annual family income of less than ₹1 lakh.
Both married and unmarried women can apply, and more than one woman from the same household can benefit. This initiative reflects the Haryana Government’s strong commitment to social welfare and women’s empowerment.
Scheme Benefits and Target Groups
Each qualified woman will get Rs 2,100 every month through Direct Benefit Transfer. In the first phase, the scheme plans to support around 20 lakh women in Haryana.
For the financial year 2025-26, the government has set aside Rs 5,000 crore to ensure timely and uninterrupted payments. This initiative is part of the government’s commitment under the Sankalp Patra promises.
Access Through Technology
A special mobile app was introduced to make applying and resolving complaints easier. Women can submit applications from home without visiting offices or service centers.
The app allows users to check eligibility and register complaints. Soon after its launch, it recorded nearly 50,000 downloads and 8,000 applications. Additionally, a toll-free number and helpline are available to assist applicants.
